Curb Check is our 6.0% Carrot Cake inspired new england style hazy ipa. This beer is inspired by the eating of carrot cake and drinking IPA, they truly go great together. It has all the spices of a carrot cake and malt-detrine for added mouthfeel with some mexican vanilla beans for the icing on top! Great around the holidays! Made with Cascade, Mosaic, Citra and Galaxy Hops.
This is a big hop aroma beer with a nice low 4.6% abv. Perfect for hot summer days out in the yard or on the boat. With light body and full flavor, this is our big summer drinker! Made with Citra Hops!
Galaxie:503 is a Galaxy, Motueka & Nelson Sauvin Hazy IPA. This beer also haze Malto-dextrin & Rye for added sweetness & mouthfeel and checks in at a mild 6% abv. It also had Mexican Vanilla beans in the fermentation for a nice clean vanilla and hops nose. Enjoy any season! Made with Galaxy, Motueka and Nelson Sauvin Hops!
Alleghany Rd is a 5.3% Hazy Milkshake (or MALTSHAKE) IPA with those hoppy nose you come to expect from a hazy and the sweetness of a milkshake. But withOUT lactose! that’s right, no tummy issues from this beer! Infused with late addition hops of Azzaca, Citra and Idaho 7, then DDH with galaxy, Motueka and Citra. The hops live in this beer! It’s a nice easy drinker with a moderate hop nose!
We brewed up a tasty one here! On the sweet side of balanced, Siwiha Dr. is a “Maltshake” Hazy IPA with ALL #nelsonsauvin hops! “Malt” because we use malto dextrin instead of lactose (easier on some tummies, but does the job well). Beautiful fruity, champagne hop aroma with a pillowy sweetness that will make your mouth water for more!
Well we've gone and done it again! A milkshake IPA without the lactose! Woodland Drive is a culmination of a tasty, sweet Malt bill, with maltodextrin added and all Nelson hops in the whirlpool, followed by Galaxy hop additions in the DryHop! This beer has a big citrus nose and is pillowy in the mouth! Enjoy with friends!
Ever want a nice fruity beer with a pillowy mouthfeel that leaves you eager to try the next sip? Us too. Behm Drive is the culmination of many test batches and drinking real nice! Brewed and dry hopped with Southern Passion and Strata hops, this one has been a fan fav. Hop you enjoy!
Mitchell Drive is the same hazy base beer and hops as Behm Drive, but in an effort mix things up, we went with a Tropical IPA yeast that attenuated a little more and gave some cool fruity pineapple character and yeast dominated nose, that plays nice with the Strata and Southern Passion hops that add a slight bitter characteristic. Checking in at 8%abv and an easy drinker, this beer can be a real recipe for a good time! Cheers! Show Less
A few styles we are really excited about...
A delectable 4.6% saison fermented with fresh peaches and added vanilla beans. This beer is named for our own little Peach, Savannah, born in 2018. She is sweet, precious and oh so enjoyable! Double dry hopped with Citra and Galaxy Hops!
Grandma's Key Lime Pie Is a 4.5% gose with sleeves of graham crackers thrown right in the mash and real lime added! This Gose is slightly tart with a sweet key lime pie essence. Inspired by the wonderful supermarket pies of my youth, this is sure to remind you of the quick desserts bought by your folks after a long week of work as a kid!
EXO 101 is a first of many experiments to come for BLBCO! This one is a kentucky common recipe that we added mint to and threw into a bourbon barrel with some wild yeast called brettanomyces. This will be something different we hope. A nice light roastiness and body, that is offset by slight mint and a wild barrel aged character.
Our Belgian inspired beers
Named for our little guy, Jackson, this award winning (Bronze at 2018 Winter Brew) beer is big and full of energy! Jack Jack Attack is a big 8.5% Belgian Triple. The belgian yeast lends to a bannana nose that yields to the coriander as it warms
The reason we started brewing
Designed in collaboration with our buddy Matt, this is a 6.0% abv porter with real maple sweetness and smokiness from actual bacon used during the fermentation. A seasonal favorite!
An 8% imperial stout brewed with malto-dextrin for added sweetness and the mouthfeels! The stout has a nice roast nose and sweet taste that ends with a nice dry finish for such a creamy beer. We hope you love it as much as we do! Bronze Medal Winner at 2019 Charlie Orr Competition.
We loved Your What Hurt so much we went and put into bourbon barrels! This beer has a roast yet bourbon nose and is super creamy and easy to drink for an imperial. Well loved by many and a Gold Metal Winner at the 2018 Winter Brew competition.
